My Coffee Journey

My passion for great coffee started in University, during a trip with some friends who were coffee aficionados and baristas themselves. It wasn’t until they introduced me to a cup of coffee from a local roaster called Mapcap Coffee that I knew coffee could taste so great.

Ever since that lightbulb moment, I’ve been enjoying and learning more about coffee and applying my knowledge to craft the perfect morning brew. I borrowed brewing equipment from those friends and my dorm room became my coffee lab as I experimented with developing the perfect V60 brew daily.

To me, coffee is more than just a drink, it’s an experience, and I want other people to be able to partake in that experience.

I’ve joined in coffee cuppings and tastings, and have experimented with many different brewing methods from the Chemex to the Aeropress. I may not have professional barista experience yet, but I have a desire to learn the craft and to deliver customers with an exceptional experience.
